Our Mission StatementThe goal of the Flight Line Café is to provide a relaxing friendly environment specializing in coffee drinks, specialty beers, pastry and snack/deli style foods with aviation simulators for rental to the general public. Furthermore, it will establish itself in the local community, as well as within the international community of aviation enthusiasts (as a place of means and origination to broaden the interest and participation in the aviation field through involvement and creation in clubs, schools and business). Lastly our goal is to provide a place of resource and study through publications of books, charts and reference materials as well as through discussion with fellow patrons in the understanding, training and advancement in the aviation field.

Our Mission Statement pretty much sums up what we plan to give to our customers and the community but it doesn’t say why we decided to do it. Well the fact is it all came about sitting with some pilots back at an airline I used to work for. No one was ever short on any good stories to share and as pilots they would occasionally encounter questions on procedures or company policies and discuss to resolve any matters that came up. If you weren’t laughing- you were learning.
When I got laid off from that airline (you didn’t think this was going to be a complete fairy tale story did ya?!) I spent time in a coffee shop in a town with a flight school and saw many student pilots come in to study over a cup of coffee. It was at that point I realized what a great way to keep all those stories alive and add to them with new ones by opening a place where pilots ranging from student to retired, or anyone in the aviation industry, can feel most at home. Surrounded by their peers ready for a good laugh or something new to learn.
We here at the Flight Line Café hope you too find our coffeehouse as a place where you can feel most at home in. Thank you and welcome aboard!
